I thought long and hard on just how to present this concept. My first idea was the say the people that think this way are single-layer thinkers. It didn’t quite say what I wanted.

They say that kids, don’t develop the ‘cause & effect’ portion of the brain until early 20’s? The biological females slightly ahead of the males for some godly reason, and I meant literally, as God has a hand in the presentation of this gift to the females first.

You can see I am wrestling with this concept. I see both parties (but I am laser-focused on the blue party which was my party all of my life until 2016), tend to be short-sighted when looking at outcomes of their platforms and/or goals.

There are several obvious reasons for this. If you spend time, effort, and other people’s money expecting a specific result and it doesn’t happen, you tend to want to have excuses or just flat out deny it fell short.

If it fell short of the total number, you could say it improved a certain percentage. If that also falls short, you can say it stopped dropping a specified amount, or even just a percentage. You can usually crunch the numbers of a sow’s ear into a silk purse.

In politics this is known as putting a ‘spin’ on the data. Back when the media did not run cover for political parties, the spin was crucial. Today however, one party has the luxury of letting the media do all the spinning!

This has created a vacuum in the balance of responsibility for one’s actions. No longer does a blue party member have to admit failure because even if their idea crashes and burns, the media puts the clothes back on the emperor, and almost all of the blue party supporters never saw a thing! All good things come to an end, and even most 'bad things' as well. That is why the educated are expecting a big swing of the political pendulum back toward the red party.

The last time the red party had that momentum they squandered it, just 'kicking the can' down the road, promising if we all get reelected the real change will finally occur.

This is the bugaboo! The ‘lifers’ (both red and blue) made their Millions and want to stay in D.C. where the power and money is, so they keep pushing the solutions out, with pledges of ‘pie in the sky’ fixes, IF you just ‘put more money in my campaign coffer, and wait for the next election.’

We can only hope, no, we can VOTE in the right people, so this next red-wave really accomplishes our goals, only promised and never delivered for decades of election cycles.

Even though the ‘established’ media has been paid off, the Internet is spawning thousands of micromedia outlets that are exposing this rotting political swamp that has been so skillfully hidden from low-information voters forever.

Trump himself pulled back the curtain and showed how the swampers have been lying to us about how long it takes to create a Bill. It only takes weeks not years as they kept telling us. One more reelection and we'll get that son-of-a-gun passed, the swamp creatures would promise. Now we know better. If they are motivated Bills will get passed in mere days!

To be clear, not all low-information voters are stupid, many are hypnotized, lied to, and lured by influencers away from the red-pilled world. Oh yes, and even drugged. To misquote a famous expression, ‘Opioids of the masses’ keep many low-information voters down and distracted.

But those pesky micromedia outlets are red-pilling the masses in greater numbers every day. I put my own spin on that, not having exact numbers I used a promise of increase, to make my point.

In a free society we should all be allowed to put our spin on opinions, and all be allowed to counter those. Just as it is in science, (real science, not the political science of covidian times), when all ideas are placed on the table and openly discussed, what remains is an improvement.

But the biggest loss is to the people of both the red and the blue parties. No matter how they envisioned a better world, it will never happen if we spin, and cover up the flaws in our system. It works for big pharma, it works for the oligarchs, of course the lifer politicians, traditional and tech media, raking in hundreds of Millions, but it fails miserably for you and me.

Our part is to inform. Create a micromedia channel as we do on locals.com, or just discuss with neighbors and friends. Every little bit helps. I couldn’t help but laugh when this big boisterous black man came into a convenience store.

He bellowed, ‘That Biden is a real asshole! He is ruining everything. I am sorry I voted for the bastard! I should have voted for Trump! At least with Trump you knew where he stood. He hated Mexicans and blacks, but he made everything better! We need Trump back!'

I stifled a laugh at his CNN/MSNBC misinformation about Trump hating Mexicans and blacks, but saw a glimmer of light, that just may be the way forward...
