In the US there are two major political parties. One party is built on the concept that people are, and should be, responsible for all of their actions and therefore given more abilities leaving the government to only supply the basic protections to assure sovereignty and true physical infrastructure so that honest free trade is unimpeded.

The other major political party, where do I start, believes the government should fix every malady in our country.

They further believe it is the government's job to define who we are, how we live, what is safe, what is dangerous, how much we can earn, how much we must give to the government, what medicine we should inject into our bodies, they even believe that the government has the power to ignore the Constitution in order to keep us safe by denying us constitutional privilege and rights given to us for over hundreds of years!

This party also believes that we do not elect a servant of the people every four years as our president, but we instead elect a dictator.

To further complicate things, both parties believe in allowing unlimited funding to each party, full-blown lying if it gets the candidate elected, that candidates can make lifetime careers out of working in Congress, that insider trading is a perk of working in Washington, DC, and both parties seem to miraculously gain way more wealth than their salaries and honest investments would earn them.

That last part, shared by both of the major political parties in the US is what we colloquially know as the 'swamp'.

A third party labeled Libertarian probably has the least members of the swamp, but no hope of ever electing a leader of the country.

In fact, that party only serves to split the vote with the first party allowing the second party, the one in which the government decides everything for us, to find its way into power, which neither of the combined majority of the other two wants!

A dangerous flaw in our Democratic system is that two similar parties act as a cancer allowing the opposite to gain power. At first you may think of course and that's okay, but if you follow that logic, that means there could be great majority people wanting certain type of government but because of their minor differences a totally opposite form of government takes over.

How is this logical? In a worst case scenario over 65% of the voters could want a conservative government and due to minor disagreements, end up with a liberal government!

Not only can this happen, it did happen in our last election when liberal voters literally encouraged a split in the conservative solidarity by voting for whom they thought was the most outrageous conservative candidate in primaries. This minimized the more independent voters from joining the conservative side as they would have had the liberal voters not tampered with conservative primaries.

If we are going to take back power, away from Washington DC, to our states and to ourselves, we must be smart enough, after all, the mud-slinging and gnashing of teeth, to join together and all vote for the conservative majority leader that bubbles to the top for 2024.

The definition of insanity is to be bitter, and refuse a conservative alternative, forcing a liberal back into control again! I am hoping by writing this you will tell all your friends and anyone else who will even listen, stay true to the bigger picture, and please let's get a conservative President back in control so we can turn this thing around.
