Desire to promote free speech and public discourse. You have the right to say it, and I have the right to comment. This is the backbone of American freedom. We can always learn if we keep our minds open.

The largest threat to our Democratic Republic today is the muzzling of free speech.

I'm sure you've heard by now President Donald j Trump is the first president in the history of the United States to ever be impeached twice by the House of Representatives.

If cooler heads ever really prevail, it will go down in history books as the most farcical rabbit hole Congress has ever gone into.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is so full of pride that when anyone publicly offends her as Trump has done they become her mortal enemy and she clearly hates the man and everything he stands for and anyone who supports him and what they stand for.

There was a point where I think she was actually going to cooperate with him but he publicly offended her in a meeting and she felt from that moment on he was her mortal enemy and she would do everything she could to sink him.

I give her a lot more credit for intelligence, so the actions she has taken have to be out of wild unbridled emotion rather than any true consideration.

History books will justify the impeachment of the same president twice in the same term as emotional overload and no real basis.

But what is more important is what is about to be attempted. The new Democrat heavy Congress is going to try to retroactively complete the impeachment of no longer president Donald j Trump after he has left office!

Not being a legal scholar but having a reasonable amount of common sense I can see how this is totally unconstitutional for one very good reason. I worry that the prejudicial members of the supreme Court may ignore this fact but here is my reason that you cannot impeach a president after he's left office.

The decision to impeach belongs to the House of Representatives and the Senate that is seated while the president is in office. But guess what after he leaves office a new disproportionate Congress takes over.

Many people have now left the office new ones are coming in and the ratio of Democrats to Republicans changes. It certainly can be argued that the president should have been impeached by the members of Congress that were in place when his alleged offenses, (high crimes and misdemeanors), occurred.

How can he have any form of a just impeachment, if he's being impeached by people that weren't even in office when those objectionable high crimes and misdemeanors occurred.

It would be a joke for them to vote on what somebody else tells them or what was in a record when they weren't there when it happened.

It could also be argued that since they were not in office they have may not have been privy to any of the real facts as today's media exagerate facts into very different directions.

If you were trying to judge a former president on what you heard, (in both news and social media) you would get a decided unfair an unrealistic opinion thrust at you.

This would be like having a murder trial and after the trial, dismissing the jury, then bring in 12 new people, having that jury vote on whether the defendant was guilty or innocent.

I don't think any of you would think that would be a fair an impartial trial especially if you were the defendant.

I say again the United States Constitution is the glue that holds this country together. The day the supreme Court does not fix what lower courts plunder is the day this country falls apart.

It worries me that Justice Roberts and perhaps others seem to be bowing to threats of physical violence and not doing their job. The supreme Court knows law that's why they are there.

When a case has been brought to them that violates constitutional law but ruling the correct way will ultimately cause rioting they have run from their responsibility and cowered in fear.

Justice Roberts and those that agree with him are opening a door they may not want to open. If you make it clear that threats of violence change your opinion I predict there will be a lot more violence on the way.

This is not a call to violence I abhor violence and this can be proven by my actions throughout my life. To this day I have never physically harmed another human being. Fact. I would never ask anyone to commit violence.

Justice Roberts on the other hand is sending the message if you want to bend the rules and get away with it threaten violence. This is not a good idea, Justice Roberts.

Are you a 'Reluctant Republican'?
This is my first podcast. I plan to do many more. This was 43 years ago today..

I was the Production Director. I edited (spliced with a razor blade and tape) reel to reel audio tape and made magic, (commercials and contest promos). To maintain my energy I brought a gallon of orange juice into the studio every day and it was gone five hours later when my show was over. Funny, I don't recall ever getting the Flu when I was there.. 🙄😎

The reason there's only the parts where I talk and not the whole song is because the boss, (the Program Director) required us to record 'skimmer tapes' that only run when our mic is open, so he could yell at us for anything he thought was wrong. LOL
