We have seen much worse from the Minnesota, and Washington riots where some armed rioters did kill people, burn buildings, loot and destroy businesses.

Early news stories falsely accused a Jan 6th participant of bludgeoning a Capital Police Officer to death with a fire extinguisher. It took many weeks to hear that story was totally false.

The damage is done. I see the mainstream misleadia did their job to perfection, and to this day honorable people both in and out of the government have a warped opinion of that event.

The Truth is a rally was held on Jan 6th. 97% came to have their voices heard in what even the President said was a peaceful event. The Capitol Building is normally open to you and me without appointment. That day it was closed and a tiny fraction the the protesters breeched the building.

There was very little conflict within the building, and again unlike the last summer riots, no policeman was seriously injured.

Yes, it was wrong and those that broke in should have consequences, but the Democrat paintbrush has those other 97% stigmatized as 'rioters', and 'extremists', including off-duty military, first responders, and corporate business owners.

Reports have been slow to come out, but the FBI recently said that no one arrested inside the Capital breech had a gun! Get real! No weapons, unless staplers, broom handles, and flags count? An 'insurrection' with no firearms. It may be the first in 1000 years?
